Preoccupations’ Ill at Ease finds the acclaimed post-punk band sharpening their signature blend of motorik rhythms, wiry guitars, and dark, atmospheric tension into something both urgent and hypnotic. Driven by restless energy and stark, incisive songwriting, the album builds on the band’s legacy of angular experimentation and brooding intensity.
