Collection: WORK WIFE

Work Wife is the dream pop project started by Brooklyn-based musician Meredith Lampe (also of Colatura). With influences such as Men I Trust, Faye Webster, and American Football, Work Wife blends contemporary synth pop elements with melancholy lyrics and surf rock instrumentals to achieve music that evokes her own dark humor. She writes and produces out of her home studio in Greenpoint, Brooklyn, and plays live joined by drummer Cody Edgerly, Kenny Monroe on bass and Aida Mekonnen on lead guitar. Quitting Season was produced by NYC favorites TOLEDO and mixed by JAY SOM. It is set to be released in December by Born Losers Records.

"Lampe’s glassy vocals ring out over swirling finger-picked guitar, a hushed and vulnerable vocal performance that feels like she’s sharing long-held secrets and deeply held truths.”  Under the Radar

"lush and immediate songs from Brooklyn's Work Wife, which surround triumphant vocal melodies with lush atmospherics"  - Bandcamp

"a softly exhilarating indie-pop song that captures the bliss and blur of a long night out." - Flood Magazine

"sweet, vulnerable and stripped-down” - Rolling Stone
